Michael C. Lynch

Michael has spent his entire career in the executive recruiting profession, giving him the experience and contacts to conduct top-level searches across a variety of industries.

He began his career in 1975 at Russell Reynolds Associates, where he progressed to Managing Director and head of the firm’s Investment Management practice. In 1987, he joined in the formation of Lynch Miller Moore, which grew substantially during its 13 years. Heidrick & Struggles purchased the firm in May of 2000, and he became a Senior Partner in the Financial Services and Consumer practices.

During his career he has personally conducted more than 500 assignments covering a broad array of industries including banking, investment management, private-equity backed manufacturers, and catalog and direct marketing.

Michael has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and an AB in Government from Harvard University. He enjoys history and The New York Times crossword puzzle, and has been on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago for 25 years.
