Christopher A. Morgan

Chris focuses on recruiting senior executives in the software and software enabled services industries. He has also recruited senior information technology executives for the industrial, business services, consumer products and services, and financial services sectors.

Prior to starting Lantern Partners in January 2003, he was the youngest Partner at any of Heidrick and Struggles worldwide offices, serving as a Partner in the Global Technology practice. He arrived at Heidrick and Struggles via the acquisition of Lynch, Miller, Moore, O’Hara. Chris began his career in senior executive recruitment at Ray & Berndtson as an Associate in 1996 and quickly advanced to the role of Principal.

Before he entered executive recruiting, Chris served as an operations and systems consultant for Andersen (formerly Arthur Andersen) where he managed projects to develop and implement performance measurement management and decision support solutions for utility and telecom companies. Prior to that, he served as a member of the management associate program for Bank of America (formerly NationsBank).

Chris has a BS in Business from Indiana University. An Eagle Scout, he enjoys all things outdoors, including fly fishing and soccer. He is also on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Chicago and is chairman of the membership committee for the Illinois Information Technology Association.
