Michael B. Wyman

Michael is responsible for client development and search execution in the firm’s technology and private equity and venture capital practices.

Michael’s search work focuses primarily on senior-level searches for chief executive officers, presidents, board directors, and functional heads of finance, sales, marketing, information technology, and human resources.  His clients range from high-growth, early-stage ventures to more mature and established companies.

Prior to Lantern Partners, Michael spent six years with Carlyle Group, a Chicago-based boutique search firm in Chicago.  Before joining Carlyle Group, he was with both Korn/Ferry International and Martin Partners, where he started his search career started in 1993.  Michael worked for Goldman Sachs & Co. after college and spent an additional seven years with Continental Grain Company as a commodity trader and merchandiser.

Michael has a BS from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.  Michael is on the Board of the Northwestern University Settlement Association in Chicago, and other interests include reading historical novels and most anything about the game of golf, building his musical repertoire on his iPod, and finding people who share his interest in playing cribbage.
