Collin recruits senior executives across a wide variety of industries with an emphasis on technology officers and their direct reports in mid-cap and large industrial companies.

Collin’s twenty-plus years of executive recruiting include over 250 searches concentrated in industrial, technology, financial services and health care companies. His assignments are often for CIOs, CTOs and their direct reports, but also include presidents, CFO’s, sales/marketing executives, consultants and shared services officers. His clients include large global corporations, private equity portfolio companies, start-ups, professional services firms, and family-held enterprises. Collin joined Lantern Partners following a search career that began with five years at a technology boutique, followed by seven years with Ray & Berndtson, and most recently ten years with Korn/Ferry International.
Previously, Collin was co-founder and Vice President of Field Operations for Metafile Information Systems, an IBM Business Partner that developed and marketed relational database management and integrated image systems with consulting services. During the first eight years of his business career, he held functional roles in sales, marketing and general management for American Hospital Supply Corporation.
Collin’s undergraduate degree in business was conferred by the University of Minnesota and his MBA was earned from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has been active in his community with many years as a Scout Master, school board member, fund raiser and community development volunteer. Collin enjoys time with his wife and their five children as well as golf, racquet sports, skiing, and especially building and driving hot rods from the 30’s and 40’s.
