Sarah L. Zielke

For over 25 years, Sarah has been a leader in the healthcare industry, recruiting senior executives in the pharmaceutical, medical device, medical technology, and healthcare services spaces. With an expansive network of C-suite and physician leaders, Sarah now focuses on the convergence of these various groups, as well as the venture start-ups and private equity backed companies that are revolutionizing healthcare.

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.”

Prior to Lantern Partners, Sarah spent seven years with WittKieffer, a leader in healthcare executive search where she partnered with a broad range of healthcare organizations, integrated health systems and their boards, physician groups and commercial healthcare companies to identify C-Suite and senior executives across the organization. Prior to WittKieffer, Sarah spent ten years with Spencer Stuart, a large global executive search firm, as a core member of the Healthcare Services Practice where she focused on academic and integrated delivery system leadership. Sarah spent her early career in consulting for both AT Kearney and Accenture and began her career in London with a leading British executive search firm.

Sarah holds undergraduate degrees in both International Relations and Italian from University of Colorado and has an MBA from Loyola University Quinlan School of Business.

Sarah lives in Hinsdale, IL with her husband Michael and their two children, Caroline and Henry. When not focused on family time, Sarah loves travel, cooking, art and home renovation (that never seems to end).

Sarah is passionate about historic preservation and consequently is engaged with the Hinsdale Historical Society Board. She maintains active involvement in the healthcare community both as a former foundation board member with University of Chicago Advent Health Hinsdale Hospital as well as the Wellness House, a not-for-profit organization committed to supporting those living with cancer and their families.

She also enjoys organizations fostering education and leadership opportunities for young people with current involvement in the National Charity League.
