Lantern Partners recruits
Chief Financial Officer
for Affinitiv

Affinitiv is a leading provider of data-driven marketing and software solutions for the automotive industry. The company helps automotive OEMs, dealer groups, and individual dealerships attract, convert, and retain customers across the entire vehicle ownership lifecycle. Affinitiv combines proprietary first-party data, software, and marketing capabilities to deliver highly targeted and personalized customer communications, supporting more than 5,500 dealerships and all major automakers nationwide.

As Affinitiv continues to scale, the company sought an experienced, commercially oriented CFO who could bring greater financial visibility, operating discipline, and scalability to the organization. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kurt Phillips as Chief Financial Officer.

Phillips brings more than two decades of finance leadership experience across private equity-backed SaaS, technology, and tech-enabled services businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of SEG, an RFE Investment Partners-backed sales and marketing services platform, where he partnered with the sponsor and management team on the company’s financial and operational transformation and completed multiple acquisitions. Previously, Phillips held CFO and CFO/COO roles at Emplify, eShots, Hostway, and ShopperTrak.

At Affinitiv, Phillips will lead the finance organization and serve as a key partner to CEO Sharon Kitzman, the Board, and the broader leadership team. He will focus on strengthening forecasting and reporting, improving analytical visibility across the business, modernizing financial systems and processes, and building the finance organization needed to support continued growth. His experience working with private equity sponsors, building scalable finance functions, improving profitability, executing M&A, and preparing businesses for successful exits makes him well suited to help Affinitiv drive its next phase of growth and value creation.
