Paul C. Maranville

Paul recruits outstanding talent for professional services firms, as well as for technology and technology-enabled services companies.

Paul is responsible for client development, client management and executive recruitment execution in the firm’s Professional Services, Technology, and Growth-Stage Business practices. His work focuses on senior-level recruitment for executives and functional heads within strategy, operations, sales, marketing and human resources, as well as numerous executive level consulting roles.

“It’s not what you look at that matters,
it’s what you see.”

Prior to Lantern Partners, he led the Professional Services/Strategy practice at a boutique executive recruitment firm. Paul credits his consultative approach, open communication style and positive results for the enduring relationships he has built with his clients. Paul’s prior experience also includes serving as the Americas Director of Technology Recruiting and lead recruiting roles for several large recruitment firms.

He serves on the board for Genesys Works Chicago as well as the board for the Civic Consulting Alliance.

Paul has an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign.

Paul is married, raising three school age boys with his wife, Caitlin.

After eighteen years of living in the city of Chicago, Paul and his family moved to a hobby farm west of the city. The family has adjusted from city life to the more rural setting. The three boys manage the plentiful yard work and tend to the chickens and bees, while everyone is getting more handy with machine maintenance.

Paul is an active photographer, having shot from all kinds of interesting venues, including the roof of the Sears Tower (he still won’t refer to it as Willis). Shooting city architecture at night is of keen interest.

As an avid archer, outdoorsman, and sporting clay enthusiast, he is always looking for a good excuse to be in the wilderness.
